Expatriate Relocation Guide
Welcome to Mumbai!!
As an expatriate relocation to any city calls for a complete change in lifestyle
and living conditions. Mumbai for a lot of expatriates is easy from the perspective
that you blend into the city very easily and difficult for a lot who are not used
to see a lot crowd, traffic and people everywhere.
We totally understand that relocating is more than moving into a new house in a
New City and filling in the paperwork, getting to know the city, understanding the
various locations etc.
Mumbai is one of the easiest cities to relocate to if you really look at it from
our perspective, being an island city the options are limited in any case and once
you have identified the office or the school as some parameters or even the rents
as a benchmark then it is not too difficult to find a home in a few days.
You may be moving in from any city in India or from abroad, Mumbai has to offer
something for everyone in every budget and hence Our Company uniquely offers housing
in each price range as our dedicated team keeps the database of properties available
updated in each location and with our extensive network in Mumbai, Thane or even
Navi Mumbai we are able to cater to your needs and requirements and more over with
a 15 years of dedicated work in the relocation business we tend to understand this
in a professional manner and in turn make your move smoother and not with any surprises.

that is a need.

|
Most of the families which relocate follow the “Golden Rules of Relocation”. However,
if you are a single guy or a couple then it becomes a little easier as you can freely
choose to be in different locations.
The Golden Rules of Relocation are "Kids First, Wife Second and Husband Third"

A brief on typical patterns which we have seen have been followed by individuals/families
relocating to Mumbai or being transferred to Mumbai in their jobs with various Multinational
Companies, Banks, Corporations and various companies etc.,
These can be taken as referral only, as each individuals requirements may differ
from the other :
Most of the Expatriates relocating to Mumbai generally look at Apartments in South
Mumbai in all the prime residential locations and from Bandra to Goregaon East and
Powai. This is primarily because a lot of offices are in Western Suburbs and with
the Airport being there as well it becomes a little easier.
|
- Most of these locations have super markets and general stores in the neighborhood
and one can easily find convenient stores.
- The best super market in Mumbai is called the Hyper City which is located at Malad
West which is nearly an hour’s drive from Bandra West towards North.
- Most of these locations either have Gym or places like Fitness First, Zaff or Gold’s
Gym etc.
- A lot of 5/7 Star hotels offer club membership facilities for a year or so.
- There are a few places like” The Club” and “The Water Stones” where expats prefer
to take membership
