Type of Apartments

Apartments in Mumbai When you are relocating overseas, you definitely want the best and the biggest home as you are in the new city for a few years and you might as well make the most of it and hence when we find expatriates coming to Mumbai they are always keen to sign up on the biggest apartment which falls in their budgets even though they may have to move a little North in Mumbai as the northern parts of Mumbai are cheaper and not necessarily you will find a big house. Also a surprising part is that Mumbai is one of the most expensive city in Asia to live in.
1 BHK 2 BHK 3 BHK 4 BHK 5 BHK
400 - 700 800 – 1300 1300 – 3000 1600 – 4000 2500 - 5000
  • The carpet areas are nearly 30% lesser then the Built Up areas and a lot many times, the planning is changed and certain other common spaces are included in the apartment and hence we recommend you do not discount any apartment based on a listing with sq.ft. It is best that you see the apartment and then decide if it suits your needs.
  • BHK – In Mumbai, the term BHK stands for Bedroom, Hall and Kitchen and you will find often people saying that they have a 3 BHK on lease etc.

View from an Apartment in Mumbai Being a very populated city, Mumbai mostly has high rises and tall buildings and pent houses available with 4. 5 and 6 Bedrooms with Terraces, Balconies etc.

Finding a spacious Bungalow with a Garden is a dream in Mumbai and even if you find one they are always surrounded with tall buildings and thus defeating the purpose of living in one.

A lot of Expatriates when they come to Mumbai ask for Bungalows and Villas to live in and they are disappointed to see only a handful. Apartment in Mumbai - Bedroom
