Real Estate Market in Sewri

Sewri is located on the Central Railway zone in Mumbai City and Parel is the next popular spot around it. Sewri is known for its Flamingoes who migrate here on the Eastern Sea Short of Mumbai of the Arabian Sea. Over the past 15 years Sewri which was more on an industrial location has benefited from the Real Estate Sector as its skyline has changed.

Dosti Realty around 10 - 12 years launched a Project named Dosti Flamingoes which was sold of in a short span, one of the first few projects with amenities and then came in Ashok Gardens and the same Peninsula group is also developing Celestia Spaces there, which will be one of the Marquee Buildings of Sewri.

Sewri has also been in the news for the past few years due to the Trans Harbour link which is likely to start from Sewri and go all the way to Uran or Ulwe side of Navi Mumbai. Due to this the driving distance to Pune and other parts of Navi Mumbai will be reduced considerably. The Trans Harbur Link is likely to start work some time in 2018 and it will be completed by 2023 - 2025 or even more since the work has not begun till March 2018.

Its also an important link for the Navi Mumbai Airport connecting South Mumbai and Western and Eastern Suburbs.

The prices in Sewri have been stable for the past few years. The lease rent demand is Sewri is Normal and ever green as it gives good connectivity to Fort, Nariman Point and Colaba and to Wadala on the Northern Side.

Majority of Demand in Sewri is for 1 and 2 BHK and then comes the 3 BHK Flats which are usually preferred by Business families. Sewri does not have too many under construction projects. Ashok Gardens, Monarch Gardens, Rushabh Towers are the prime residential buildings in Sewri.

On the Commercial Properties side, Sewri does not have any A Grade or proper commercial buildings. Most of the Commercial offices are old and may be Industrial Estates. Satya House, Nav Bharat Industrial Estate etc.  Sewri also has a lot of ware housing options and a lot of Car Service Centres due to availability of large sheds for Car Servicing and warehousing.
