Dharavi Redevelopment: 1.4 Lakh Units to be Resettled, Only 35-40% of Land to be Used

The final master plan for the Dharavi Redevelopment Project is expected to be published soon, outlining land use across approximately 590 acres. Only 35-40% of this land will be allocated for rehabilitation, while the remainder will be designated for other development purposes. The publication of this blueprint will signal the final step before rehabilitation commences on one of the world's largest urban renewal projects, which aims to resettle around 1.4 lakh units.
