Up to 10,000 Maharashtra Housing Societies Await Single-Window Clearance for Self-Redevelopment

Up to 10,000 cooperative housing societies across Mumbai, Pune and Thane are awaiting a single-window clearance system to enable self-redevelopment of buildings aged 30 years and older. A streamlined approval process would help societies undertake redevelopment on their own, potentially unlocking significant new housing supply in ageing neighbourhoods.
