52-Acre Thane West Project to Add Grade-A Commercial Offices
Thane West is set to receive a major new commercial development with the launch of the 52-acre Sugee Lake District.
The waterfront project is located opposite Korum Mall near Cadbury Junction in Khopat and has frontage on the Eastern Express Highway.
Sugee Group is entering the Thane market with the development, which will bring together commercial offices, high-street retail, dining, hospitality and lifestyle facilities.
The first office tower is planned at ground plus 45 storeys.
Office units will range from approximately 800 sq. ft. to 6,000 sq. ft., while typical floor plates will measure around 46,000 sq. ft. Larger businesses will also have the option of combining adjoining units.
A six-acre lakeview promenade overlooking Siddheshwar Lake will form another major component of the development.
The commercial project has been registered under the LEED green-building rating system and is being designed by architect Hafeez Contractor.
The location near Cadbury Junction provides direct access to an established Thane West catchment and the Eastern Express Highway.
Thane's commercial market has expanded alongside its large residential base, while upcoming transport infrastructure is expected to further improve connections with other parts of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
