788 Sq Metre Bandra West Plot Set for ₹100 Crore Redevelopment
A 788 sq. metre residential property off Carter Road in Bandra West is set to be redeveloped into a new luxury housing project.
Notandas Realty has signed an agreement for the redevelopment of Mon Bijou and plans to invest approximately ₹100 crore in the project.
The proposed residential tower will have approximately 4,914 sq. metres of construction area and is expected to offer luxury residences along with lifestyle amenities.
Its location off Carter Road places the project within one of Bandra West’s most established premium residential belts.
The redevelopment is another example of how Mumbai’s mature residential neighbourhoods are generating new housing supply.
With little vacant land remaining in Bandra West, older residential properties and societies can provide developers with opportunities to introduce newer homes without moving into emerging peripheral locations.
This redevelopment model is particularly relevant around Carter Road, Pali Hill and other premium Bandra pockets, where demand for modern luxury residences remains significant despite constrained land availability.
Notandas Realty has also been expanding its luxury redevelopment portfolio. The developer announced the ₹300 crore Notan Tides luxury redevelopment project in Juhu last year.
Sandeep Sadh’s Take:
“Bandra’s redevelopment cycle is creating opportunities to replace ageing housing stock with modern residences. For buyers, the combination of a proven location and newer construction can be particularly attractive.”
